Amit has more than 17 years of experience in IFRS, accounting and financial reporting advisory. Amit is a co-founder of FinPro Consulting. He was earlier associated for around 6 years with KPMG in India and for 3 years with a multinational IT company in India.

He has led successfully Ind AS and other International GAAP convergence projects for various listed companies in India across different sectors as a partner of FinPro Consulting and during his tenure with KPMG.

He specialises in delivering trainings on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Ind AS
and US GAAP. Apart from India, he has conducted trainings in several countries including Bahrain,
Nepal and Zambia on International GAAP. He has been instrumental in conducting the training
course and developing training material for DipIFR course (accredited by ACCA). He has also
delivered trainings on US GAAP to multinational companies in the past.

Amit has formulated couple of research papers for regional branches of ICAI on ‘Impact of Ind AS
implementation’ and on ‘IFRS 15 – Revenue from contracts with customers’. He has contributed for
a publication ‘Illustrative disclosures under Ind AS’ published by WIRC of ICAI.

Akshay has more than 14 years of experience in accounting advisory and financial reporting. Akshay is a co-founder of FinPro Consulting. He was earlier associated for more than 5 years with one of the Big4 consulting firms in India.

He specialises in providing technical accounting and GAAP conversion and implementation services to leading Indian and global companies across various sectors namely information technology, engineering and construction, mining, pharmaceutical etc.

Akshay has been an instrumental member in the development of a software product – LeazeOn which addresses IFRS 16 / Ind AS 116 Leases accounting and disclosure requirements. Lease
accounting software is marketed under the brand name of “LeazeOn”.

Akshay was a member of “IND AS Implementation Committee” of WIRC of ICAI. He is a regular speaker and trainer on accounting and financial reporting matters at various forums including ICAI and Diploma in IFRS. He has been instrumental in developing training material for DipIFR course (accredited by ACCA).
